The International Association for Language Learning Technology (IALLT) endorses ACTFL’s recent public statements posted on 3/7/25 and 3/12/25. Please find both statements below:
- ACTFL Statement on English Designated as the Official Language of the United States
- ACTFL Statement Supporting the U.S. Department of Education
As a professional organization dedicated to the teaching and learning of languages, we condemn these shortsighted decisions and the loss of vital public services they will entail. IALLT stands in solidarity with the affected communities and the professionals that have proudly served them.
