A Preview of IALLT 2021: Resilience, Transformation, and Beyond

Please join the IALLT 2021 planning team for a preview of the upcoming conference and special opportunities that await our attendees at IALLT’s first virtual conference, June 16-18. The 2021 conference theme is: Resilience, Transformation, and Beyond. Resilience has been indispensable in overcoming extreme challenges in the past academic year. The move to the online/remote teaching environment has forced us to carefully examine what we do, how we do it, and most importantly why we do it. This leads us to an interesting future, examining how these challenges guide us to transform our teaching, our professional networks, and ourselves. Get a sneak peek from our keynote, Dr. Jo Mynard, Professor, Director of the Self Access Learning Center (SALC), and Director of the Research Institute for Learner Autonomy Education (RILAE) at Kanda University of International Studies in Japan. The presenters will discuss conference themes and undercurrents, outline the opportunities that will be available for attendees, and offer tips and advice about making the most of your experience. There will be ample time for Q and A. The 2021 IALLT conference will be free for all IALLT members.
