IALLT and the Arbeitskreis der Sprachenzentren (AKS) Agree to Partnership
ALLT and the “Arbeitskreis der Sprachenzentren” (AKS) are now officially partner organizations. The AKS is the German organization representing language centers in Germany, and thus shares many professional interests. AKS’s recent 50th anniversary conference at the Viadrina European University in Frankfurt (Oder) took place March 5-7, 2020. IALLT’s immediate past president and IALLT’s new AKS Affiliate Representative, Felix Kronenberg, brought the MoU document signed by IALLT President Andrew Ross to Germany, where his AKS counterpart, Peter Tischer, signed the document during the anniversary conference.
Both organizations commit to sharing certain member benefits, such as reduced conference rates and news and opportunities. We look forward to welcoming AKS members to the 2021 IALLT conference in New Orleans! More information about the AKS can be found here:
