Dear fellow IALLT Members:
As you may know, Mike Ledgerwood, Barbara Sawhill and I have been invited to represent IALLT during the LET 50th Anniversary Conference in Japan this August. I have been asked to give a workshop, but a hands-on workshop will not be possible. I have decided to present a “Best of IALLT” showcase. That is where I need your help.
I would like to invite you to contribute to a “Best of IALLT” showcase on “Language Teaching on a Shoestring.” If you are interested in contributing, please provide the following information:
- The technology application used (include URL of free download site, if applicable)
- A description of the how the application is used in language instruction (preferably a case-study with use in the instruction of a specific World Language or for ESL)
- The training/support provided by the Language Learning Center
- Photos showcasing the use of the application or screenshots depicting examples
In addition, please provide the following:
- Your contact information
- If you are a learning center director, list which languages (to include ESL) you support
I am looking forward to seeing many of your contributions.
Best,
Ute S. Lahaie
IALLT President-Elect
